 ..PAYMENT POLICY
We are committed to providing you and your family with the best dental care possible! If you have dental insurance, we are anxious to assist you in receiving your maximum allowable benefits. In order to achieve these goals, we need your help and your understanding of our payment policy.
Payment is due at the time of service unless financial arrangement have been made prior to your appointment. We accept cash, checks, Care Credit, MasterCard, and VISA.
Our office is happy to file your insurance, as a courtesy to you. However, we only estimate the out of pocket expense for any service. Please be aware that your insurance is a contract between yourself, your employer, and the insurance company. We are not a party to that contract. Each contract has policy limitations, possible waiting periods, and exclusions. Also, it is your responsibility to keep us informed as to any new insurance information necessary to file your insurance for you. Please make yourself aware of these prior to having any dental work. Therefore, payment is expected in full, whether or not your insurance remits payment. After 60 days, regardless of insurance payment, your bill is due in full. If the dental work you wish to have completed is not to be covered by your insurance, we will be happy to make short term financial arrangements, for your convenience. However, for all balances over 60 days, there will be a finance charge of 1.5% per month / 18W% annually, with a minimum charge of $2.00.
We realize that temporary financial problems may affect timely payment of your account. If such problems arise, we encourage you to contact us promptly for assistance in the management of your account.
Regarding non-payment of accounts, we list our delinquent accounts with a collection agency. This ensures that our debt will be listed on your credit report.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our office.
We look forward to having you as a member of our dental family. |
